I take my kids almost every weekend to Sam's grill!My daughter is always asking me for the milkshake and poutine and they are delicious.I also highly recommend their donair! Since Halifax donair will be going out of business soon I would recommend this place for your authentic Halifax donair flavour!Staff is always happy and pleasant to deal with and the food is always hot and fresh!It's a must try if you haven't already!

First time visiting.I Had the burger combo and my wife had the chicken burger combo.The Food was great, condiments were fresh.Fries were fresh cut and the onion rings were delicious.The Price is very reasonable.Will definitely be returning to try other dishes on the menu.

Awesome gluten free fries!!! Not many restaurants have a separate fryer so I rarely get fries. Thank you! I will try the burger next time :)

I am glad I discovered Sam’s Grill on New street at Guelph Line. I have ordered several sandwiches from them but my favourite by far is the chicken burger. It is always perfectly cooked, nice and juicy and very tasty. Make sure you get Sam’s special sauce. Very nice and a little spicy. I’m looking forward to trying the poutines!

My elderly mother and I tried this restaurant for the first time and we had a walk-in special that included a burger, poutine and a drink. The burgers were cooked to perfection, not over-cooked and not undercooked. Our juicy (not oily) burgers had lots of toppings, including the optional cooked onions, bacon and cheese. Poutine was good and plentiful, fries & gravy were tasty but the cheese was a bit cold so hadn’t fully melted (in reality, we were just too hungry to wait for the cheese to melt). The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff members wonderfully cheerful and helpful. Probably the most important aspect of our dining experience was the absence of digestive distress after we ate, which means that the quality of their beef is superior..as were the other food items. We are looking forward to trying their all-beef wieners next!

Family friendly place with delicious burgers and fries. It is not fair to discuss food without referencing a price level. This place is slightly above McDonald’s Wendy’s but significantly better in quality and flavour. I would rate it slightly lower than five guys but that is significantly more expensiveIt is always refreshing when picky kids finish their food. I would highly recommend giving this place a chance for anyone looking for good burgers or to take the family out for a meal. This is a place I would definitely revisit
